San Roque Club
San Roque Club was opened in 1991 with a
hotel and golf course and land to be sold as
plots much along the same lines as
neighbouring Sotogrande with whom they
have a boundary in Sotogrande Alto. The San
Roque Club Hotel was the official hotel for the
1997 Ryder Cup at Valderrama. With changes
over the years and new ownership the old main
hotel building is now Clubhouse to a
completely remodelled San Roque Old Course
which is a magnificent course and always in
superb condition. San Roque New Course was
built in the early 2000s and is a fine layout
designed by American Perry Dye. The hotel
is now smaller but very comfortable and has
been renamed Inmood San Roque.
There are some great villas in San Roque Club
as well as a selection of town houses and
apartments although these in no way create a
feeling of high density.
